Brining Smyrna the best beer and Braggots.

Like most stories ours starts with once upon a time,

As many of you might know Mandatory Fun Beer Works is the brainchild from the team at Viking Alchemist Meadery. There is a beer/ mead combination called a Braggot and unfortunately a Meadery is classified as a “winery” and as such the government has told us we cannot use grains, specifically, malt in our meads. In comes the Brewery license. Several years ago, a home brewer named Erik joined our Horn Club at the meadery and told us all about his award-winning beers and we started to like them, and he started to experiment more with adding mead to beer or honey to beer or various combinations. What he came up with spectacular and we felt it should be shared with the world. Erik is currently running all the brewery operations and while not all the beers are honey based that is what we specialize in. Come and Visit and try some for yourself!
